Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act or in the Statutes or Ordinances, any student of a college who immediately before the commencement of this Act was studying for a degree, diploma or certificate of the Himachal Pradesh University or the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Cluster University shall be permitted by the Sardar Patel University Mandi, Himachal Pradesh to complete his course for the degree, diploma, or certificate and the Sardar Patel University Mandi, Himachal Pradesh or the college, as the case may be shall provide for the instructions of such student in accordance with the prospectus of studies of the Himachal Pradesh University, or the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Cluster University, Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, as the case may be, and he shall be admitted to the examination concerned of the Sardar Patel University Mandi, Himachal Pradesh.
