Section 26: The Academic Council

The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Cluster University, Mandi, Himachal Pradesh (Establishment and Regulation) Act, 2018State Act of Himachal Pradesh · Act 6 of 2018

The Academic Council of the Cluster University shall consist of the following :-

(a) the Vice-Chancellor;

(b) Principals of all the Constituent Colleges;

(c) two Principals of the Autonomous colleges or Affiliated Colleges nominated by the Vice-Chancellor;

(d) the Deans of Faculties of the Cluster University;

(e) four Professors or Associate Professors from constituent colleges of the Cluster University representing subjects other than those represented by the Principals, nominated by the Vice-Chancellor;

(f) two Professors or Associate Professors from the Autonomous Colleges or Affiliated Colleges of the Cluster University representing subjects other than those represented by the Principals, nominated by the Vice-Chancellor; and

(g) two Professors or Associate Professors of the Universities established in the State, nominated by the Vice-Chancellor.
