Section 52: Powers of the Government to inspect the Cluster University

The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Cluster University, Mandi, Himachal Pradesh (Establishment and Regulation) Act, 2018State Act of Himachal Pradesh · Act 6 of 2018

(1) For the purpose of ascertaining the standards of teaching, examinations and research or any other matter relating to the Cluster University, the Government may cause an assessment to be made, in such manner, as may be prescribed.

(2) The Government shall communicate to the Cluster University its recommendations in regard to the result of such assessment for corrective action and the Cluster University shall take such corrective measures as are necessary so as to ensure the compliance of the recommendations.

(3) If the Cluster University fails to comply with the recommendations made under sub-section (2) within a reasonable time, the Government may give such directions, as it may deem fit, which shall be binding on the Cluster University.
