Securities Contracts (Regulation) (Stock Exchanges and Clearing Corporations) Regulations, 2018 Last amended on June 04, 2019Central Regulations · 1956

(1) Save as otherwise provided in these regulations, the shareholding or voting rights of any person in a recognised stock exchange or a recognised clearing corporation shall not exceed the limits specified in this Chapter at any point of time.

(2) The shareholding as specified in this Chapter shall include any instrument owned or controlled, directly or indirectly, that provides for entitlement to equity or rights over equity at any future date.
