SIKKIM ACT NO. 10 of 1978 SIKKIM SALARIES AND ALLOWANCES (AtvlENDMENT) ACT, 1978 AN ACT to amend the Sikkim Salaries arid Allowances Act, 1977;
WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Sikkim Salaries and Allowances Act, 1977, in the manner hereinafter appearing: ' Be it enacted by 'the Legislature of the State of Sikkim in the Twenty-ninth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- \ Short title 1. This Act may be called the Sikkim Salaries and Allowances (Amendment) Act, 1978.
Amendments 2. (1) In sub-section (3) of Section 3 of Sikkim Salaries and Allowance Act 1977, the words "or a Committee" shall be,and shall always be deemed to have been deleted. .
(2) Section 7 of Sikkim Salaries and Allowances Act, 1977, shall be and shall always be deemed to have been numbered as sub-section (1) thereof and after sub-section (1) so numbered, the following shall be and shall always be deemed to have been added as sub-section (2), "(2) The members shall be entitled to such travelling allowances and facilities at such rates and subject to such conditions as may be prescribed, for attending the meeting of a Committee".

THE SIKKIM SALARIES AND ALLOWANCES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1980.
AN ACT further to amend the Sikkim salaries and Allowances Act, 1977 (+ of 1977).
WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Sikkim Salaries and Allowances Act, 1977 (+ of 1977) in the manner hereinafter appearing:
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Sikkim in the Thirty-first year of the Republic: of India as follows :- I. (I) This Act may be called the Sikkim Salaries and Allowances (Amendment) Short title and Act, 1980. commencement
(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 2sth day of October, J979· In the Sikkim Salaries and Allowances Act, 1977 (+ of 1977) - Amendment of section I, Section :3 and Schedule.
(a) in sub-section (I) of section I. for the words "Sikkim Salaries and Allowances Act", the words "Sikkim Ministers, Speaker, Deputy Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly (Salaries and Allowances) Act" shall be substituted.
(b) in sub-section (2) of section 3 for the words "and the Speaker" the words." ",the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker" shall be substituted.
