Section 19: Parties who may not be registered as shareholders

Small Industries Development Bank of India (General) Regulations, 2000Central Regulations · 1989

(1) Except as otherwise provided by these regulations, no minor or person who has been found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be of unsound mind shall be entitled to be registered as a shareholder.

(2) In case of firms, shares shall be registered in the names of the individual partners and no firm, as such, shall be entitled to be registered as a shareholder.
