Section 58: Persons entitled to attend general meetings

Small Industries Development Bank of India (General) Regulations, 2000Central Regulations · 1989

(1) All directors and all shareholders of the Small Industries Bank shall, subject to the provisions of sub-regulation (2) be entitled to attend a general meeting.

(2) A shareholder (not being the Development Bank, the Public Sector Banks, the General Insurance Corporation, the Life Insurance Corporation and other institutions owned or controlled by the Central Government) or a director, attending a general meeting shall for the purpose of identification and to 3104 GI/2000—11 82 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART III—SEC. 4] determine his voting rights, be required to sign and deliver to the Small Industries Bank a form containing the particulars relating to:

(a) his full name and registered address,

(b) the distinctive numbers of his shares;

(c) whether he is entitled to vote and the number of votes to which he is entitled in person or by proxy or as a duly authorised representative.
