Section 8: Fees and allowances of directors and members of the Executive Committee and other committees

(1) Subject to the proviso to Section 12 A of the Act-

(1) Every director shall be entitled to receive a fee of rupees one thousand or such other amount as may be specified by the Board for every meeting of the Board which he attends;

(ii) Every member of the Executive Committee shall be entitled to receive a fee of rupees five hundred or such other amount as may be specified by the Board for every meeting of the Executive Committee which he attends;

(iii) Every member of any committee constituted under sub-section (3) of section 12 of the Act shall, unless he is in receipt of any remuneration, including honorarium other than casual remuneration from the Small Industries Bank be entitled to receive a fee of rupees five hundred or such other amount as may be specified by the Board for each meeting of such committee, which he attends.

(2) In addition to such fee, directors and members shall be reimbursed their travelling expenses on such scales as they are entitled to in the respective institutions in which they hold office and in any other case, on such scales as are applicable to the highest Group 'A' officer of the Central Government.
