S.O. 1898(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (b) and (d) of section 14 of the Energy Conservation Act, 2001 (52 of 2001), the Central Government in consultation with the Bureau of Energy Efficiency. hereby specifies the Household Direct cool Refrigerator with or without a crisper, ice making or frozen food storage compartments and are not cooled by internal forced air circulation in which cooling is obtained primarily by natural convection only and however some products may have fan to avoid internal condensation but not to claim as frost free, and shall include characteristics as specified in IS 1476 2653 GI/2016 (I) 2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] (Part-I): 2000 with all amendments for the purposes of the said Act and direct that any such appliances or class of appliances being manufactured or sold or purchased or imported for sale shall display such particulars on labels in such manner as specified in the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Particulars and Manner of their Display on Labels of Household Direct Cool Refrigerators) Regulations, 2016.

S.O. 1899(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 14 of the Energy Conservation Act, 2001 (52 of 2001), the Central Government in consultation with the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, hereby specifies the following energy consumption standards for star labeled household direct cool refrigerators, namely:-
1. (1) Every Household direct cool Refrigerator being manufactured, commercially purchased or sold in India shall -
(v) meet the compliance standards as specified Indian Standard IS 1476 (Part-I): 2000 with all amendments;
(vi) meet the performance requirements of the pull down temperature test set out in clause 14.5 of IS 1476 (Part-I): 2000 with all amendments except the following, namely :-
(a) room ambient temperature shall be considered as 43 ± 0.5 degree Celsius;
(b) the refrigerator inside target temperature for freezer compartment shall be considered as -8 ° C;
(c) the refrigerator inside target temperature for chill Compartment shall be considered as 5 ° C;
(d) the refrigerator inside target temperature for cellar compartment shall be considered as 16 ° C;
(e) temperature sensors location in the freezer compartment shall comply with clause 7.5 of IS 15750:2006;
(f) in case of refrigerator without freezer, there shall be no target temperature for freezer compartment;
(vii) while all units within a model are required to meet the Pull-down test and as applicable, a test report for a single unit is required to confirm this for the purposes of energy labelling;
(viii) either carry BIS certification mark or the manufacturer should be certified against ISO 9000 or above.
(2) The label to be affixed to household direct cool refrigerator shall display a maximum of five stars with an interval of one star and the household direct cool refrigerators shall be rated from star one to star five based on their relative annual energy consumption.
2. Star rating or star level plan. (1) The star level of the household direct cool refrigerator shall be determined on the basis of star level parameters, constant multiplier (kWh/litre/year) - lcdc and constant fixed allowance (kWh/Year)- cdt, which shall be obtained from Table 2.1 or 2.2 provided in sub-paragraph (2), depending on the year of manufacturing or commercial purchase or sale.
(2) The comparative energy consumption (CEC) and total adjusted storage volume for household direct cool refrigerators (V,A,_„„ d ) shall be used to determine the star rating band and star rating of the model.

(3) The comparative energy consumption (CEC) of the model shall not be less than the average projected annual energy consumption (PAEC.,.).
(4) The star level plan shall be reviewed every two years after the period covered under table 2.2 is over.
(5) There shall no tolerance for the star rating bands and all tested appliance shall meet the minimum threshold for each star rating band and the scope for manufacturing tolerance and other variations shall be accounted by the manufacturer when determining the Star Rating.
3. Calculations for star rating.- (1) The equations and procedures for calculating values of projected annual energy consumption (PAEC) and comparative energy consumption (CEC) and total adjusted storage volume for household direct cool refrigerator are given below:
(i) Projected Annual Energy Consumption (PAEC).- The tested energy consumption (E,) shall be measured as determined in clause 14.9 of IS 1476 (Part-I): 2000 with all amendments and then the projected annual energy consumption (PAEC) of each unit tested shall be calculated as follows:
PAEC = E, * (365/1000) (kWh/Year) E, = tested energy consumption expressed in Watt hour per 24 hours, (rounded to the nearest whole number as IS 2:1960, reaffirmed 2000, Edition 2.3.);
(ii) Comparative energy consumption (CEC).-The comparative energy consumption (CEC) for a model (i.e., annual electricity consumption that appear on label) shall not be less than the average projected [cnir 3(10] 11R5 tT 04144 : 3711Ititul annual energy consumption (PAEC„) (rounded to the nearest whole number as IS 2:1960, reaffirmed 2000, Edition 2.3.) for the three (or more) units which are tested to determine the label particulars and the comparative energy consumption (CEC) shall be an integer in units of kWh/Year;
(iii) Total adjusted storage volume (V„,j,_ tot_dc) •
(a) fresh food chamber target temperature shall be = +3 degree celsius;
(b) freezer chamber target temperature shall be = - 6 degree celsius;
(c) adjusted volume factor = (test room temperature — freezer temperature) / (test room temperature — fresh food temperature);
= [(32 - (-6)) / [(32 - 3)] = 1.31;
(d) total adjusted storage volume (17,400 = fresh food chamber storage volume + 1.31 multiplied by freezer chamber storage volume.
4. Testing and tolerance.-(1) For the purpose of determining the comparative energy consumption (CEC) of a model for labeling, three separate units of the nominated model shall be tested for energy consumption in accordance with clause 14.9 of IS 1476 (Part-I): 2000 with all amendments
(2) Each unit shall be tested with test runs to enable a valid E, to be determined for that unit and this determination shall be documented in a test report containing the test result for all test runs used to derive El as per IS 1476 (Part-I): 2000 with all amendments.
(3) After testing' three or more separate units, the separate values of projected annual energy consumption (PAEC) shall be averaged and referred to as average projected annual energy consumption (PAEC„).
(4) The number shall be rounded to the nearest whole number as IS 2:1960, reaffirmed 2000, Edition 2.3 and the values of projected annual energy consumption (PAEC), average projected annual energy consumption (PAEC„), comparative energy consumption (CEC), gross volume, storage volume and star rating band shall be rounded to the nearest whole number as IS 2:1960, reaffirmed 2000, Edition 2.
(5) For the purpose of determining label validity i.e., for check and challenge testing, the comparative energy consumption (CEC) value shall be accepted as valid, when each unit tested the measured energy consumption i.e., projected annual energy consumption (PAEC) shall be less than or equal to 1.1 of the declared comparative energy consumption and there is no tolerance for star rating band, projected annual energy consumption (PAEC) must meet minimum threshold of star rating band.
(6) For determining the energy consumption and performance for household direct cool refrigerator the method of testing would be as per clause 14.9 of IS 1476 (Part-I): 2000 with all amendments except the following:-
(a) room ambient temperature shall consider 32 ± 0.5 ° C;
(b) refrigerator inside target temperature for freezer compartment shall consider -6 ° C and for fresh food compartment shall consider 3 ° C;
(c) temperature sensors location in the freezer compartment shall comply with clause 7.5 of IS 15750: 2006;
(d) energy consumption shall be calculated as specified in Annexure A.
(7) For determining the storage volume for household direct cool refrigerator the method of testing (geometric method) would be as per clause 8.2 of IS 1476 (Part-I): 2000 with all amendments and for gross volume shall also be calculated by the same method as defined for the storage volume (i.e., geometric method).
(8) The tolerance limit for the volume (storage and gross) shall be as per clause 7.1 of IS 1476 (Part- I): 2000 with all amendments and pull-down temperature shall also be as per IS 1476 (Part-I): 2000 with all amendments.
5. Test report. The results of tests of each unit shall be reported as given in Annexure B of this notification.

Interpolation method
1. Calculation of Energy Consumption (Interpolation method): Tested energy consumption (Et) shall be determined either by directly from the results of a single test run during which the temperatures of all the compartments of the appliance are at or below the target temperatures. As every appliance is not capable of operating at this condition, the practical optimum (Et) of a test appliance is to be calculated through a linear interpolation method where measured temperatures lie both above and below their target temperatures and either,
(i) both points lie within ±2°C of the target temperature for each compartment; or
(ii) one point lies within ±1°C of the target temperature for that compartment and one point lies within 1-4°C of the target temperature of other compartment
2.The interpolation shall be performed according to one of two methods as follows:
A. Linear interpolation for one compartment:

Ift. oTtr-37,4-14traqpn [1 lITT9'-111/4/371T./112(185)] THE BUREAU OF ENERGY EFFICIENCY NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 26th May, 2016 No. BEFJS&L/Ref/70/2016-17.— Whereas the draft regulations namely, the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Particulars and Manner of their Display on Labels of Household Direct Cool Refrigerators) Regulations, 2015, were published vide notification number BEE/S&L/Ref/70/2015-16, dated the 5th October, 2015, as required under sub-section
(1) of section 58 of the Energy Conservation Act, 2001 (52 of 2001), inviting objections or suggestions from persons likely to be affected thereby within the specified period of forty-five days from the date of publication of the said notification in the Official Gazette;
And whereas copies of the said draft regulations were made available to the public on 5th October, 2015;

And whereas the suggestions received in this regard have been taken into consideration;
Now, therefore, in exercise of powers conferred by clause (i) of sub-section (2) of section 58 read with clause
(n) of sub-section (2) of section 13 and clause (d) of section 14 of the said Act, the Bureau, with the previous approval of the Central Government, hereby makes the following regulations, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.-(1) These regulations may be called the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Particulars and Manner of their Display on Labels of Household Direct Cool Refrigerators) Regulations, 2016.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Definition.- (1) In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires,-
(a) "Act" means the Energy Conservation Act, 2001(52 of 2001);
(b) "direct cool refrigerators" means an appliance as specified in the notification under clause (b) of section 14 of the Act;
(c) "Form" means a form appended to these regulations;
(d) "label" means any written, printed, marked, stamped or graphic matter affixed to, or appearing upon, direct cool refrigerator;
(e) "label period" means the validity period of the comparative electricity consumption under energy consumption standard notified by the Central Government under clause (a) of section 14 and in case the end period of the validity period of the comparative electricity consumption is not notified, it shall be deemed to be valid until new values for the same are notified by the Central Government;
(f) "models or family of models" means the model or range of models of one particular brand, to which a single set of test reports is applicable and where each of the models has the same physical characteristics, annual electricity consumption, energy efficiency level and performance characteristics;
(g) "pertnitee" means a person or agency to whom permission has been granted to affix label under regulation 7;
(h) "star rating or star level" means the grade of energy efficiency displayed on the label of the direct cool refrigerator based on energy consumption standard notified by the Central Government under clause (a) of section 14 of the Act to denote the comparative electricity consumption of direct cool refrigerator;
(i) "trader or seller" in relation to any labelled direct cool refrigerator means a person who sells or distributes any such direct cool refrigerator and includes the shopkeeper, trader, manufacturer and permittee who has been given permission to affix label on such direct cool refrigerator.
(2) Words and expressions used herein and not defined, but defined in the Act, shall have meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
3. Particulars to be displayed on label.- (1) On every direct cool refrigerator, the following particulars shall be displayed on its label, namely:-
(a) the logo of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency;
(b) name of manufacturer or importer and brand;
(c) appliance type;
(d) rated Gross Volume;
(e) rated Storage Volume;
(f) model number and year of manufacturing or import;
(g) unique series code;
(h) electricity consumption in units per year;
(i) star level; and
(j) label period.
(2) The design, colour, size and content of label shall be as specified in the Schedule annexed to these regulations.
4. Time limit for display of labels.- (1) A label containing all the particulars specified in regulation 3 shall be displayed on every direct cool refrigerator within a period of six months from the date of coming into force of these regulations.
(2) On and from commencement of revised energy consumption standards notified by the Central Government under clause (a) of section 14 of the Act, every permittee or trader or seller shall ensure that-
(a) the direct cool refrigerator put on sale shall display revised star level and revised label period synchronizing with the revised energy consumption standards and the manufacturing year of the direct 18 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART III—SEC. 4] cool refrigerator shall also be in synchronization with such revised energy consumption standards, and shall not produce the direct cool refrigerator with the previous energy consumption standards;
(b) all preparatory steps including awareness of the dealers, retailers, requisite publicity for their education as well as for the education of the consumers shall be well planned and taken six months in advance of the date of such commencement, under these regulations.
5. Manner of display of label.-(1) On every direct cool refrigerator, shall be displayed label at the point of sale and such label shall be affixed on the direct cool refrigerator in the following manner, namely:-
(a) self-adhesive label affixed on the front side of the upper right portion of direct cool refrigerator;
(b) self-adhesive label affixed on the front side of the carton box.
(2) For direct cool refrigerators not on display, the label may be affixed to the exterior of the packing and the label may be attached to the unit when put on sale.
6. Permission for display of label.- (1) No star label shall be affixed on a direct cool refrigerator without obtaining the prior permission of the Bureau.
(2) For the purpose of obtaining permission of the Bureau under sub-regulation (1), an application shall be made in Form-I and in electronic form:
Provided that separate application shall be made for each model of direct cool refrigerator.
(3) Every application under sub-regulation (2) shall be accompanied by –
(a) an application fee of two thousand rupees, payable by demand draft in favour of Bureau of Energy Efficiency, New Delhi or by any acceptable electronic mode of payment;
(b) a label security fee of one lakh rupees, payable by demand draft in favour of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, New Delhi; or by any acceptable electronic mode of payment:
Provided that in case of small scale industry, label security fee shall be only twenty five thousand rupees; and
(c) documents specified in Form 1.
7. Grant of permission.- (1) On receipt of an application under regulation 6 and after being satisfied that all requirements therein are complied with, the Bureau may, within a period of one month from the date of such receipt, grant, subject to such terms and conditions as/are specified in regulation 8, permission for affixing label on direct cool refrigerator in Form II or in electronic form.
(2) The Bureau shall maintain a register in Form lli and enter the name of the pemtittee therein.
(3) The permission so granted under sub-regulation (1) shall be valid for such period till which the star level specified by the energy consumption standard as notified by the Central Government under clause (a) of section 14 is in force.
(4) An application for renewal of permission shall be made by the permittee from six months but not later than three months before its expiry and shall be accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees payable in the form of demand draft or electronic mode in favour of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, New Delhi
(5) No application shall be renewed after expiry of validity period, in which case the permittee shall make a fresh application.
(6) On receipt of application for renewal under sub-regulation (4) and after being satisfied that all requirements are complied with, the Bureau may, within a period of one month from the date of such receipt, renew permission in Form II.
(7) The permittee who seeks permission for continuance to affix label on the existing model of the direct cool refrigerator from the date from which the revised star level comes into force, shall submit only a declaration in Form IV.
(8) The permittee shall seek permission to affix label afresh, if new model of the direct cool refrigerator is planned to be launched to synchronize with the revised star level and application for such permission may be made six months in advance of coming into force of the revised star level.
8. Terms and conditions for display of particulars on label.- Every permittee, trader and seller shall comply with the following terms and conditions in displaying the particulars on label, namely:-
(a) the star level displayed on the label of direct cool refrigerator shall conform to energy consumption standards for direct cool refrigerator notified by the Central Government under clause (a) of section 14 of the Act;
(b) the label shall be affixed only on such model of direct cool refrigerator for which permission has been granted;
(c) the label shall be printed and affixed on the direct cool refrigerator at the cost of permittee;
(d) the permittee, trader and seller shall ensure that the star level displayed on the label of direct cool refrigerator shall be maintained at all time;
(e) the permittee shall pay the label fee as specified in regulation 9;
(f) the permittee shall furnish to the Bureau a statement containing details of production of labelled equipment and the accrued labeling fee due for each quarter within the following month of the close of each quarter of the financial year;

(g) the pennittee shall furnish to the Bureau an updated list of authorised distributors, dealers, retailers, sellers appointed to sell their labelled products by 30th day of April of each year;
(h) the permittee, trader and seller shall comply with such other terms and conditions which the Bureau may specify including those contained in the Bureau's Manual on Standard and Labelling.
9. Label fee.- (1) Every permittee shall pay to the Bureau a label fee of five rupees for each label affixed on the direct cool refrigerator.
(2) The label fee specified under sub-regulation (1) shall be paid annually within one month from the date of closure of each financial year:
Provided that on failure to pay the label fee within the period so specified, the Bureau may recover the amount due with interest thereon at ten per cent. per annum from the label security fee made under clause (b) of sub-regulation
(3) of regulation 6, and if complete labeling fees are not recovered within one year of the last date of submission, the Bureau may cancel all labels granted to the permittee and publish the name of the permittee in the newspapers as a defaulter.
10. Refund of label security fee.- Subject to the provisions of sub-regulation (2) of regulation 9, a permittee shall be entitled to a refund of the label security fee, on ceasing to manufacture direct cool refrigerator.
11. Verification by Bureau.- (1) The Bureau or its designated agency may, either suo motu, or on a complaint received by it, carry out verification to ensure that the direct cool refrigerator conforms to the star level and other particulars displayed on its label and that it complies with the other terms and conditions of permission.
(2) For the purpose of verification, samples shall be picked up at random by Bureau or its designated agency from the manufacturing facility, warehouse or the retail outlet as it deems fit.
(3) Where, upon a complaint received under sub-regulation (1), the Bureau is required to carry out verification by challenge testing the direct cool refrigerator in an independent laboratory duly accredited by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories, a notice shall be issued to the permittee for carrying out such testing and the complainant shall be called upon to deposit, such expenses relating to testing, transportation and other incidental expenses with the Bureau, within such time, as may be determined by Bureau, and if the sample drawn under challenge testing fails, all expenses towards the cost of sample, transportation of sample and the testing charges, shall be reimbursed by the permittee to the Bureau and the Bureau shall refund the aforesaid expenses to the complainant; and where the equipment passes the challenge test, then, the expenses deposited by the complainant shall stand forfeited.
(4) Where samples of direct cool refrigerator used for testing fails the test during suo motu testing or challenge testing, the permittee shall be afforded another opportunity and the Bureau shall conduct a second test with twice the quantity of direct cool refrigerator used in the first test in an independent test laboratory duly accredited by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories at the cost of the permittee.
(5) Where the second test fails, the Bureau shall,-
(a) direct the permittee in Form V, under intimation to all the State Designated Agencies, that the permittee shall, within a period of two months,-
(i) correct the star level displayed on the label of the direct cool refrigerator or remove the defects and deficiencies found during testing;
(ii) withdraw all the stocks from the market to comply with the directions of the Bureau; and
(iii) change the particulars displayed on advertising material;
(b) publish for the benefit of the consumers, the name of any permittee, brand name, model name or model number, logo and other specifications in any national or regional daily newspaper and in any electronic means or in any other manner as it deems fit, within two months;
(c) Intimate to the concerned State Designated Agency to initiate adjudication proceedings against the permittee and the trader under section 27 of the Act.
(6) The permittee shall within ten days of the conclusion of the period of two months referred to in sub-regulation
(5),—
(a) send the compliance report in Form VI to Bureau with respect to action taken in compliance with the direction; and
(b) in case the compliance report referred to in clause (a) is not received or received without complying to any of the direction within the specified period, it shall be deemed as non-compliance of the direction issued and orders to that effect shall be passed by the Bureau.
(7) The Bureau shall send a copy of the compliance report referred to in clause (a) and orders passed in clause (b) of subregulation (6) along with necessary documents to all the State Designated Agencies for the purpose of taking action under section 17 of the Act and enforcement of the orders passed under clause (b) of the said sub-regulation.

(8) Where the permittee fails to comply with the directions issued by the Bureau under sub-regulation (5), the Bureau under intimation to all State Designated Agencies, shall,-
(a) withdraw the permission granted to the permittee under sub-regulation (1) of regulation 7;
(b) send report to the Central Government accompanied by the test report in support of the failure by the permittee to conform to the energy consumption standards notified by the Central Government under clause (a) of section 14 of the Act, the directions of the Bureau referred to in clause (a) of subregulation (6) for consideration and taking action under clause (c) of section 14 of the Act by the Central Government;
(c) publish for the benefit of the consumers, the name of any permittee, brand name, model name or model number, logo and other specification in any national or regional daily newspaper and in any electronic or in any other manner as it deems fit within two months;
(d) intimate to the concerned State Designated Agencies to initiate further adjudication proceedings against the permittee and the trader under section 27 of the Act.
12. Cancellation of permission.- The Bureau may cancel the permission granted under regulation 7, if the permittee –
(a) fails to comply with any of the terms and conditions specified under regulation 8;
(b) fails to pay label fee within the period specified under regulation 9;
(c) does not comply with the direction issued under regulation 11.

Pursuant to the provisions of regulation 7 of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Particulars and Manner of their Display on Label of Household Direct Cool Refrigerators) Regulations, 2016, the Bureau hereby permits you to affix label as per details of approvals set out in the Annexure to this letter.
2. This permission is subject to—
(a) the star level displayed on the label of the direct cool refrigerator shall conform to energy consumption standards for direct cool refrigerator notified under clause (a) section 14 of the Act and terms and conditions provided in the aforesaid regulations;
(b) the label shall be affixed only on such model of direct cool refrigerator for which permission has been granted;
(c) the label shall be printed and affixed on the direct cool refrigerator at the cost of the permittee;
(d) the permittee shall ensure that the star level displayed on the direct cool refrigerator shall be maintained at all time;
(e) the permittee shall pay the label fee of five rupees per label;
(f) the permittee shall furnish to the Bureau a statement containing details of production of labelled equipment and the accrued labeling fee due for each quarter within the following month of the close of each quarter of the financial year. The same details shall be furnished to the Bureau also through automated systems;
(g) the permittee shall make available such other details of direct cool refrigerator as and when sought by the Bureau for which the permission has been granted.
3. This permission shall be valid for from to and may be renewed as prescribed. The permittee shall not withdraw the direct cool refrigerator from the market during the validity period of permission except with the prior approval of the Bureau.
4. The unique label series code assigned by Bureau of Energy Efficiency for the equipment is and should appear on the label as per the approved design.
5. Where the star level plans on review is modified by the Central Government, the star level of the direct cool refrigerator shall stand modified as follows:-
(a) if new model is launched synchronizing with the revised star level, an application for such permission shall be made to Bureau six months in advance of the date from which new star level comes in to force;
(b) where the existing model is continued to give effect to the modified star level, only a declaration in Form IV shall be submitted to the Bureau.

The results of the Test Report indicated that the sampled household direct cool refrigerators failed to meet the energy consumption standard in units per year, specified gross volume and storage volume etc. and did not conform to the Test details furnished by you in Form 1 annexed to the Application submitted by you for seeking permission to affix label on the household direct cool refrigerators manufactured/imported by you. The Test Results were sent to you vide Bureau of Energy Efficiency letter No........ dated in the name of your authorised Contact person . You were also requested to attend and witness the Second Check Verification Test of the samples at the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories Accredited Laboratory M/s
5.The Sample for second check verification Test were picked up .... dated the .... through our authorised Agency M/s. and transported to the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories accredited Laboratory transported by our authorised Agency, duly sealed by M/s and was given Unique Identification serial number embossed on the said sample obtained from under signatures of the duly authorised representative of the verification Agency as well as your representatives.
6. The Test results of second check testing are enclosed which are dully checked and counter signed by the competent authorised personnel of the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories Accredited Laboratory. The test report is also duly signed by your authorised signatory as witness of rd check testing. The Test Results confirm that they failed to meet the requisite parameters and standards given in S.O.number .... dated, .... and the terms and conditions of the permission given to you for display of particulars on label affixed to the Household Direct Cool Refrigerators manufactured/imported and sold in the market .
7. Now, therefore in exercise of the power conferred clause (a) of sub-regulation (5) of regulation 11 of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Particulars and Manner of their Display on Labels of Household Direct Cool Refrigerators) Regulations, 2016, the Bureau hereby directs to :-
(i) correct the star level displayed on the label of the Household direct Cool Refrigerators or remove the defects and deficiencies found during testing;
(ii) withdraw all the stocks from the market to comply with the directions of the Bureau; and
(iii) change the particulars displayed on advertising material.
8. You are hereby directed to complete the aforesaid corrective action within two months from the date of issue of this letter and send the compliance report in Form VI within 10 days after the expiry of two months i.e. by In case no compliance report is received by the said date the Bureau shall proceed to take action in terms of clause (b) of sub-regulation (6) of regulation 11 of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Particulars and Manner of their Display on Labels of Household Direct Cool Refrigerators) Regulations, 2016.
