Section 29: Penalties for contravention of section 11 or any order made under section 17.

If any person contravenes the provisions of section 11 or any order made under section 17 he shall, without prejudice to any confiscation or penalty to which he may be liable under the provisions of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), be [liable to penalty which may extend to fifty thousand rupees and forsubsequent contravention penalty which may extend to one lakh rupees] .
