Section 1: Short title, application and commencement

Spices Grading and Marking Rules, 2012Central Rules · 1937

(1)These rules may be called Spices Grading and Marking Rules, 2012.

(2) They shall apply to the following spices (whole and powder) namely:-

(a) Turmeric

(b) Chillies

(d) Cardamom

(e) Large Cardamom

(f) Coriander

(g) Ginger

(h) Cumin

(i) Cumin Black (Kalonji)

(j) Fennel

(k) Fenugreek

(l) Celery seed

(3) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
