SCHEDULE-I (See rule 3) _ Constitutional or Statutory Authorities, Departments of the State Government and other Government Functionaries which may use the Emblem— ’
(1) Governor, Chief Minister and State Ministers;
(2) Office and the officers of the State Legislature:
(3) Judges and office and officers of the Judiciary;
(4) Members of the State Legis!ature;
(5) Office and officers of the State Planning Commission;
(6) Chairperson and Members of the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission and the - office and officers of the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission;
(7) Chairperson and Members of the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission, and the office and officers of the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission, .
- (8) Departments and offices of the State Government and their officers;
(9) Tribunals, Commissions and authorities constituted or established by an Act of the State Legislature.
Explanation: - For the purpose of this Schedule, the expression ‘officer’ shal! mean a Gazetted officer of the State Government.

PART-I :
Constitutional Authorities and other Dignitaries whict may display Emblem on their cars—
(i) For the Governor House when the following dignitaries or their spouses are traveling by such vehicles; .
(A) Governor, (B) Additional car running behind the Governor's car.
(ii) For others:
(A) State guests, (B) Off cial cars of the State Government and Sudiciary.
PART-2 Authorities which may disp!ay the State Emblem of Uttar Pradesh on metal plague on their cars—
(i) Cars of the Chief Minister and Ministers of the State, Speaker of the State Legislative Assembly, Chairperson of the State Legislative Council when they are travelling anywhere in Uttar Pradesh; .
(ii) Cars of the Chief Justice and judges of the High Court;
(iii) Cares of the Ministers when they are travelling in the State.

SCHEDULE-HI (See rule 6) Other purposes for which the Emblem may be used-
(i) ‘Visiting Cards of the functionaries or Officers specified in Schedule-I for legitimate representational purpose; .
(ii) Greeting Cards sent by functionaries or officers specified in Schedule-I for legitimate representational purpose; a
(iii) Official publications of the Government,
(iv) Films and documentaries produced by the Government, {v) Government advertisements, banners, pamphlets, boards. etc;
{vi} Crests, flags, seats with such modifications as considered necessary;
(vii) Identity cards, licenses, permits etc., issued by the Government;
(viii) Websites of the Government, we
(ix). Medals, certificates and Sanads instituted by the Government;
(9 Invitation cards for functions of the Government;
(xi) Representational glassware crockery and cutlery’ used at the Raj Bhavan, Raj Niwas ‘and Government centers located outside the State; .
(xii) Badges, collars, buttons efc., “with such modifications as are considered necessary, on the © uniforms of :- ‘ . .
_{a) Commissioned or Gazetted officers of the armed forces of the State;
(b) Gazetted officers of uniformed services of the State Government;
(c} Authorized staff of State posts outside the Governor's Building and the State Sector with such modification as required; .
(xiii) School textbooks, books on history, art or culture or in any periodical as part of the text of a _ chapter, section efc., for the purpose of explaining or illustrating the origin, significance or . adoption of the Emblem:
Provided that the emblem shall not be used on the front page, title or cover of such publication so as to give an impression that it is a Government publication.
Explanation- For the purpose of this Schedule, "Government" means the State Government of Uttar Pradesh. , oO .
