Section 22: Judges of High Court.

The State of Himachal Pradesh Act, 1970Central Act · Act 53 of 1970

(1) The President may, if he thinks fit, direct that such of the Judges of the High Court of Delhi holding office immediately before the appointed day as may be determined by him, shall on that day cease to be Judges of the High Court of Delhi and become Judges of the High Court of Himachal Pradesh.

(2) The persons who by virtue of sub-section (1) becomes Judges of the High Court of Himachal Pradesh shall, except in the case where any such person is appointed to be the Chief Justice of the High Court, rank in that Court according to the priority of their respective appointments as Judges of the High Court of Delhi.
