Section 23: Amendment of the Fourth Schedule to the Constitution.

The States Reorganisation Act, 1956Central Act · Act 37 of 1956

As from the appointed day, in the Fourth Schedule to the Constitution, for the Table of Seats, the following Table shall be substituted, namely:―

"Table of Seats

6. Madhya Pradesh 16
