Supreme Court Judges Travelling Allowance Amendment Rules 2020Central Rules · 1958

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) and clauses (c) and (f) of sub-section (2) of section 24 of the Supreme Court Judges (Salaries and Conditions of Service) Act, 1958 (41 of 1958), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Supreme Court Judges Rules, 1959, namely: - l. (1) These rules may be called the Supreme Court Judges (Amendment) Rules, 2021.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Supreme Court Judges Rules, 1959, in rule 3B -

(a) in sub-rule (1), for the words "twenty five thousand rupees" the words "seventy thousand rupees" shall be substituted;

(b) in sub-rule (2), for the words "fourteen thousand rupees" the words "thirty nine thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
