(1) The Appellate Tribunal for Electricity established under section 110 of the Electricity Act, 2003, shall be the Appellate Tribunal for the purposes of this Act.

(2) The Appellate Tribunal may hear and dispose of––

(a) any appeal filed under sub-section (1) of section 51;

(b) any other matter as may be notified by the Central Government within the purview of the Appellate Tribunal.
