(1) Every person appointed to the service either by direct recruitment or by recruitment by transfer, shall undergo induction training in the subjects specified in the Table below for a period of 2 months and the period of training shall be counted both for declaration of probation and sanction of increment.

(2) Orientation training shall be imparted to the members of the Service at such intervals as may be determined by the Commissioner of Municipal Administration.
