Section 43: Superintendence and control by Government

The Tamil Nadu Agricultural Produce Marketing Regulation Act, 1987State Act of Tamil Nadu · Act 27 of 1987

The Government shall exercise superintendence and control over the Board and its officers and may call for such information as they may deem necessary and, in the event of their being satisfied that the Board is not functioning properly, they may supersede the Board and till such time as a new Board is constituted, make such arrangements for the exercise of the functions of the Board as they may think fit;

Provided that the Board shall be constituted within six months from the date of its supersession.
