The Board or the market committee, as the case may be, shall purchase the stationery and other stores required by it only after assessing the requirement after considering the stock in hand, the actual consumption in the previous year. Acknowledgement shall be obtained and maintained for the issue of the stationery and other store items from the persons to whom it has been issued. A register of Stationery and Stores in Forms 48 and 49 shall be maintained by the Board and every market committee.
