Section 13: Handover of vacant possession

(1) Within a period of thirty days from the date of receipt of the authenticated copy of the redevelopment scheme, the association shall serve notice to all the apartment owners/occupants of the project to handover the vacant possession of the apartment to the promoter in the manner as agreed under the redevelopment scheme.

(2) If any person does not vacate or refuse to handover vacant possession of the apartment, the association shall make an application to the said authority, for summary eviction of such occupants.

(3) If any person resists or obstructs the authority specifi ed in rule 9 in eviction, the authority shall inform the concerned area station house offi cer of police department in writing, to provide adequate police personnel, as may be necessary, to eff ect summary eviction.
