Section 7: Appeals under section 5- An appeal under section 5 of the Act shall

The Tamil Nadu Beedi and Cigar Workers (Conditions of Employment) Rules, 1968State Rules of Tamil Nadu · 1966

(A) be made in writings within a period of thirty days from the date of receipt of the order sought to be appealed against; and (B) be accompanied by a treasury receipt showing that the appropriate fee in respect of the appeal as specified in rule 8 has been paid.

Explanation- The date on which the order appealed against when sent by registered post will normally be received by the appellant shall be deemed to be the date of receipt of such order by the appellant for the purpose of this rule.
