Section 14: Disqualification for membership

Tamil Nadu Building And Other Construction Workers (Regulation Of Employment And Conditions Of Service) Rules,2006State Rules of Tamil Nadu · 1996

(1) A person shall be disqualified for being a member of the State Advisory Committee,—

(i) if he is of unsound mind and stands so declared by a competent court;

(ii) if he is an undischarged insolvent; or

(iii) if he has been convicted of an offence which. in the opinion of the Government, involves moral turpitude.

(2) Where a question arises as to whether a disqualification has been incurred under sub-rule (1), the Government shall decide such question.
