The employer shall ensure at a construction site of a building or other construction work that an ambulance van is provided at such construction site or an arrangement is made with a nearby hospital for providing such ambulance van for transportation of serious cases of accident or sickness of the building workers to the hospital -88- promptly and such ambulance van is maintained in good repair and is equipped with standard facilities specified in Schedule-V to these rules.
