Section 28: Ballot paper

Tamil Nadu Farmers' Management of Irrigation Systems Election Rules, 2003State Rules of Tamil Nadu · 2001

(1) The Collector shall arrange to procure the ballot papers in sufficient numbers to cover the electors in the Water Users Associations (Territorial Constituency wise) and some extra ballot papers for any contingency.

(2) Every ballot paper shall have a counterfoil attached thereto. The said ballot paper and the counterfoil for the election of President of Water Users Association shall be in. Form-12. Every Ballot paper for the election of member of Territorial Constituency shall be in Form-13.

(3) Every ballot paper shall, before issue to an elector, be, stamped or shall be written on its back with the details-

(i) Name and number of the Polling station ;

(ii) Name of the Water Users Association ;

(iii) Number of Territorial Constituency ;

(iv) Name of the Taluk ;

(v) Signature of the Presiding Officer.
