Section 43: Cancelled ballot papers

Tamil Nadu Farmers' Management of Irrigation Systems Election Rules, 2003State Rules of Tamil Nadu · 2001

(1) If a elector, to whom a ballot paper has been issued, refuses to observe the procedure for voting, even after warning the ballot paper issued shall be taken back from him whether he has recorded his vote thereon or not.

(2) After the ballot paper has been taken back, the words shall be recorded on its back as "cancelled - voting procedure violated" and signature affixed below these Words and all such ballot papers shall be kept separately bundled and properly accounted for.
