Section 46: Admission to the place of counting

Tamil Nadu Farmers' Management of Irrigation Systems Election Rules, 2003State Rules of Tamil Nadu · 2001

(1) The Returning Officer shall exclude from the place fixed for counting of votes all other persons except:—

(a)the candidate or a person duly authorised in writing by him ;

(b)the person arranged by the Collector ;

(c) such persons to be known as counting Officers and counting assistants as the Returning Officer may designate to assist him in the counting ;

(d) Public servant on duty in connection with the election.
