Section 65: Result of election where there is only one validly nominated candidate

Tamil Nadu Farmers' Management of Irrigation Systems Election Rules, 2003State Rules of Tamil Nadu · 2001

(1) If there is only one validly nominated candidate for the office of President, he shall be declared forthwith as having been elected for the office of President in Form-24 and a certificate of election in Form-26 shall be issued to him.

(2) If more than one validly nominated candidate for the office of President is there election shall be conducted.
