Section 10: Penalties

(1) Violation of rule 3 shall amount to trespass and shall be dealt with under section 21 of the Tamil Nadu Forest Act, 1882 (Tamil Nadu Act V of 1882) or under section 27 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972 (Central Act 53 of 1972), as applicable.

(2) Any violation by indulging in actions prohibited under rule 7 shall be dealt with under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Forest Act, 1882 (Tamil Nadu Act V of 1882) or the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972 (Central Act 53 of 1972), as applicable.
