Section 34

The Tamil Nadu Gudalur Janmam Estates (Abolition and Conversion Into Ryotwari) Act, 1969State Act of Tamil Nadu · Act 24 of 1969

(1) As a preliminary to such determination, the Tribunal shall apportion the compensation among the janmi and any other persons whose rights or interests Tribunal in the janmam estate shall be transferred to the Government under clause' (b) of section 3, or cease and determine under clause (c) of section 3, including persons who are entitled to be maintained from the janmam estate and its income, as far as possible, in accordance with the value of their respective interests in the janmam estate.

Compensation to be apportioned by Tribunal

(2) The value of those interests shall be ascertained—

(a) in the case of the Janmam estates held by impartible tarwad referred to in Section 35, in accordance with the provisions contained in that section and in such rules, not inconsistent with that section and in such rules, not inconsistant with that section as may be made by the Government in this behalf; and

(b) in the case of other janmam estates, in accordance with such rules as may be made by the Government in this behalf.
