Section 21: Maintenance of Service Register

The Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious Institutions Employees(Conditions of Service) Rules, 2020State Rules of Tamil Nadu · 1959

(1) Service Register shall be maintained for all employees. All service matters like appointment, details of pay, probation, increment, tests passed, promotion, leave sanctioned and availed, punishment etc., shall be recorded therein and a certifi cate that “service verifi ed” shall be recorded in the register every year in January and be attested by the Executive Authority.

(2) Every employee shall verify the entries made in his service register once in three years and put his signature in token of such verifi cation. If any discrepancies are noticed, such fact shall be reported to the Executive Authority for rectifi cation.
