(1) Every licensee shall maintain such accounts as may be specified by the Commissioner and such accounts shall be made available for inspection by the Manufactory Officer or other officers of Excise Department not below the rank of an Assistant Commissioner.
(2) Every licensee shall preserve the permits, bills, invoices and registers and accounts relating to the transactions for a period of five years after the lapse of the year to which it relates.
