In exercise of the powers conferred by the first proviso sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Tamil Nadu Infrastructure Development Act, 2012 (Tamil Nadu Act 22 of 2012), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby issues a general order that the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Infrastructure Development Act, 2012 shall apply to all Public Private Partnership projects of a value in excess of Rupees ten crores.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 24 of the Tamil Nadu Infrastructure Development Act, 2012 (Tamil Nadu Act 22 of 2012), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby constitutes the Tamil Nadu Infrastructure Development Fund with an initial corpus of Rs.10,00,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Crores only).

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 34 of the Tamil Nadu Infrastructure Development Act, 2012 (Tamil Nadu Act 22 of 2012), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby notifies that the Chennai Monorail Project is exempted from the said Act, since the Project was conceived and the Project related activities have commenced prior to the commencement of the said Act.
