20.10.2021 URDER: Based on the announcement made by the Hon ble Minister for Labour Welfare and Skill IJevelopment on the floor of the Legislative Assembly on 04 09.2U21, the Commissioner of Labour in his letters 2nd read above, has sent a proposal for introducing Educational Assistance to the children of registered workers studying from 6'h to 9 h standard, enhancing Natura! Death Assistance and Accidental Death Assistance for the members of the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers Social Security and Welfare Board and 15 other Welfare Boards and to amend the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers Social Security and Welfare Scheme, 2006 and 15 other welfare schemes of the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers Social Security and Welfare Board and 15 other Welfare Boards accordingly.

2. The appended Notifications will be published in the Extraordinary issue of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette. The Works Manager, Government Central Press, Chennai-600001 is requested to send ten copies of the Gazette to the Government and ten copies to the Commissioner of Labour, Chennai-600 006, directly.

3. The Director, Tamil Development and Information (Translations) Department, Secretariat, Chennai-600 009 is requested to send the Tamil translation of the Notifications to the Works Manager, Government Central Press, Chennai-600001 for publication in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the -Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Work) Act, 1982 (Tamil Nadu Act 33 of 1982), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, after consultation with the Advisory Committee, hereby makes the following amendments to the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers Social Security and Welfare Scheme, 2006 as subsequently amended. AMENDMENTS. In the said Scheme,-

(1) in clause 17, in sub-clause (2) (a), for the expression “Rs.1,00,000”, the expression “Rs.1,25,000” shall be substituted;

(2) in clause 20, in sub-clause (1), for the expression “Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only)”, the expression “Rs.30,000 (Rupees Thirty Thousand only)”, shall be substituted;

(3) in clause 21,-

(i) in sub-clause (1), in the Table, after the Serial No.10 and the corresponding entries relating thereto, the following Serial No. and corresponding entries relating thereto, shall be added, namely:- “11 XI-A 6th to 9 h Std., studying 1,000 1,000

(ii) for sub-clause (3), the following sub-clause shall be substituted:- “(3) The application for assistances specified in Serial numbers 2 and 5 in column (1) of the Table in sub-clause (1) shall be in Form X to be submitted after passing of the course, the application for assistances specified in serial numbers 6 to 10 in column (1) of the said Table shall be in Form XII to be submitted before completion and passing of the course, the application for the assistances specified in serial numbers 1, 3 and 4 shall be in Form XI to be submitted before completion and passing of the course and the application for assistances specified in Serial number 11 in column (1) of the Table in sub-clause (1) shall be in Form XI-A to be submitted before completion and passing of the course.”;

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Work) Act, 1982 (Tamil Nadu Act 33 of 1982), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, after consultation with the Advisory Committee, hereby makes the following amendments to the Tamil Nadu Powerloom Weaving Workers' Social Security and Welfare Scheme, 2010 as subsequently amended. AMENDMENTS. In the said Scheme,-

(1) in clause 17, in sub-clause (2) (a), for the expression “Rs.1,00,000”, the expression “Rs.1,25,000”, shall be substituted;

(2) in clause 20, in sub-clause (1), for the expression “Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only)”, the expression “Rs.30,000 (Rupees Thirty Thousand only)”, shall be substituted;

(3) in clause 21,-
