Section 9: Resignation of office by member and filling up of casual vacancies

Tamil Nadu Labour Welfare Fund ActState Act of Tamil Nadu · Act 36 of 1972

(1) Any representative of employer or employee or Member of the State Legislature, or non-official member may resign his office by giving notice thereof in writing, to the Government, and on such resignation being accepted, shall be deemed to have vacated his office.

(2) A casual vacancy in the office of a member may be filled up as soon as may be and a member so appointed to fill such vacancy shall hold office for the remainder of the term.
