The Tamil Nadu Liquor Retail Vending (in Shops and Bars) Rules, 2003State Rules of Tamil Nadu · 1937
(1) As soon as may be after promulgation of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition (Amendment) Ordinance, 2003, the Corporation shall make an application to the Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise for the grant of licence for the retail vending of liquor in shops and bars for the whole of the State of Tamil Nadu.
(2) The application shall be accompanied by the Treasury receipt in proof of the payment of Annual Privilege Fee of Rs.1,00,00,000/- (Rupees one crore only), Licence Fee of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees one thousand only) for the grant of licence.
