On the receipt of a complaint, it shall be examined whether it is in conformity with the provisions of the Act and the Rules and in that case, it shall be numbered serially and the details of the complaint shall be entered in the Complaint Register in Form-II. On registration, an acknowledgement in Form-III shall be issued to the complainant.
