Section 21: Complaints against the officials of the Lokayukta and Competent authority to impose penalties

The Tamil Nadu Lokayukta Rules, 2018State Rules of Tamil Nadu · 2018

(1) Every complaint made against any staff of the Lokayukta for an offence not punishable under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (Central Act 49 of 1988) shall be dealt with in accordance with the provisions of the relevant rules in force.

(2) The competent authority to impose penalties against various categories and the appellate authorities shall be as specified in Schedule IV.
