Section 10: The Pro-Chancellor

The Madurai Kamaraj University Act, 1965State Act of Tamil Nadu · Act 33 of 1965

(1) The Minister in-charge of the portfolio of education in the 2 [State of Tamil Nadu] shall be the Pro-Chancellor of the University.

(2) In the absence of the Chancellor, or during the Chancellor's inability to act, the Pro-Chancellor shall exercise all the powers of the Chancellor.
