Section 8: Notice of preparation of master plan

Master Plan for Madras Metropolitan Planning Area (Preparations, Publication and Approval) Rules 1974State Rules of Tamil Nadu · 1971

(i) The Authority shall within fifteen days or the receipt or the consent of the Government under rule 7, publish a notice in Form 1 in the manner prescribed in the rule 15 of the preparation of master plan inviting objections or suggestion from any person affected or interested in the plan within the period mentioned in Form I.

(ii) Within thirty days of the publication of the drift master plan the Authority shall send copies of the master plans with enclosure to the District Collectors concerned, the Heads of Department lifted in the Annexure and to the State Town and Country Planning Board.
