Section 2: Definition

The Tamil Nadu Panchayat (Restriction and Control to regulate the use of Porambokes in Ryotwari Tracts) Rules, 2000State Rules of Tamil Nadu · 1994

In these Rules, unless the context otherwise requires,-

(a) “Act” means the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994 (Tamil Nadu Act 21 of 1994);

(b) “B. Memo” means the statement showing the details of un-authorised encroachments on Government lands, the use of which is regulated by Village Panchayat.
