Section 143: Removal of difficulties if any, by State Election Commission

The Tamil Nadu Panchayats (Elections) Rules, 1995State Rules of Tamil Nadu · 1994

(1) The State Election Commission may issue such general or special directions as may in its opinion be necessary, for the purpose of giving due effect to these Rules, or holding any election under the Act.

(2) If any difficulty arises in giving effect to the provisions of these Rules, or in holding any election, the State Election Commission as occasion may require, may, by order, do anything which appears to it necessary for the purpose of removing the difficulty.
