A notified polling station can be used for the purpose of conducting elections either for a Member of Village Panchayat or President of a Village Panchayat or a Member of a Panchayat Union Council or a District Panchayat either individually or simultaneously. The Presiding Officers, Polling Officers and such other officers appointed for the purposes of conducting one election shall be deemed to have been appointed for the purposes of holding all other elections so held simultaneously at that polling station. Unless otherwise directed by the State Election Commission, the polling materials like ballot boxes, rubber stamps, distinguishing marks etc., as well as records like marked copy of the electoral roll, covers, etc., used for one election may be also be used for other such elections.
