Section 43: Marked copy of electoral roll

The Tamil Nadu Panchayats (Elections) Rules, 1995State Rules of Tamil Nadu · 1994

(1) There shall be as many marked copies of electoral rolls as may be prescribed by the State Election Commission for a polling station.

(2) Immediately before the commencement of the poll, the Presiding Officer shall demonstrate to the polling Agents and others present that the marked copy of the electoral roll or rolls to be used during the poll does not contain any entry other than those made in pursuance of these Rules and other authorized corrections made by the Panchayat Electoral Registration Officer.
