The Panchayat Union Commissioner shall be the Panchayat Electoral Registration Officer under subsection (2) of Section 30 of the Act for the purposes of preparing and publishing 7 Panchayat Electoral Rolls in respect of the Wards of the Panchayats in his jurisdiction.
