Section 80: Ballot box

The Tamil Nadu Panchayats (Elections) Rules, 1995State Rules of Tamil Nadu · 1994

The Returning Officer shall also place a ballot box for the receipt of ballot papers in the view of the Ward members present at the meeting.

The ballot box shall be so constructed that the ballot papers can be inserted 49 therein but cannot be withdrawn therefrom without the box being unlocked or opened.
