An appeal to the State Government or an officer notified in this behalf may be made against the order refusing to grant or to renew licence under rule 3 or rule 5 or cancellation of the licence under rule 8 or removal of hoarding under rule 21 in Form VI within thirty days from the date of receipt of order refusing to grant a licence or renew a licence or cancellation of a licence.
The appeal shall be accompanied by a fee of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five hundred only) paid in the form of Bank demand draft payable to the Secretary to Government, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Secretariat, Chennai-9 and the statement of the grounds of appeal. Such appeal shall be disposed of within a period of sixty days from the date of receipt of such appeal.
