Section 2: Procedure of notice

Tamil Nadu Panchayats (Moving of Resolutions at Meetings of village Panchayats) Rules, 1999.State Rules of Tamil Nadu · 1994

A member who wishes to move a resolution shall intimate his intention in writing to the President by giving at least ten clear days notice and such notice shall contain a copy of the resolution which he wishes to move :

Provided that the President may allow a resolution with shorter notice than ten days to be entered on the list of business.
