Section 4: Preparation of draft Detailed Development Plan

Preparation, Publication and Sanction of Detailed Development Plan (Chennai Metropolitan Planning Area) RulesState Rules of Tamil Nadu · 1971

(1) Within three months from the date of publication of the notification under section 19(2) of the Act or within such further time, as the Government may permit, the Authority shall prepare a Detailed Development Plan for the area along with a map which shall be called Map No. 2.

(2) The map prepared under sub-rule (1) above shall be drawn to a scale of not less than 1 : 8,000 and shall as far as possible, illustrate by means of colours, letters and explanatory notes on the proposals made in the plan.
