Section 10: Appeal against the order of refusal of grant or renewal of certificate of recognition

The Tamil Nadu Private Schools (Regulation) Rules, 2023.State Rules of Tamil Nadu · 2019

(1) An appeal against the order of the competent authority refusing to grant the certificate of recognition or to renew the certificate of recognition shall be made to the appellate authority along with a copy of that order within a period of thirty days from the date of receipt of that order.

(2) The appellate authority shall call for the records from the competent authority against whose order the appeal has been preferred and dispose of the appeal on merits within a period of two months from the date of receipt of the appeal.
