Section 37: Change in the constitution of the educational agency or transfer of management of the school

The Tamil Nadu Private Schools (Regulation) Rules, 2023.State Rules of Tamil Nadu · 2019

(1) Whenever there is any change in the constitution of the educational agency or any amendment is made to the trust deed or the memorandum of association, the educational agency shall submit all the relevant documents to the competent authority within a period of fifteen days from the date of registration of such change or amendment.

(2) Where an educational agency of a private school other than a minority school, proposes to transfer the management of the school to another educational agency having similar objectives, both the educational agencies shall apply jointly in Form-V to the competent authority:

Provided that where an educational agency of a minority school proposes to transfer the management of such private school to another educational agency of the same minority, both the educational agencies shall apply to the Government for approval.
